Ptosis Surgery
Check the details
【Ptosis Surgery】
Ptosis is a condition where the muscles responsible for lifting the eyelid (levator muscles) weaken, causing the eyelid to droop over the pupil. Ptosis can be congenital, caused by weak or defective levator muscles at birth, or acquired due to aging or prolonged use of contact lenses. Ptosis correction surgery involves suturing the stretched and loosened levator aponeurosis to the tarsal plate, improving eyelid lift.
